Writing is a communication- so communicate!

Have you ever pondered what would have happened if there were no newspapers to read early in the morning or no magazines, novels, blogs, emails or any kind of writing available to us to read? Life would not have been the same if writing was not available to us. Writing is a form of communication created by humans to express their thoughts, ideas, judgement, life stories, facts and events etc. onto the paper. It is a beautiful form of written expression that helps us to paint a picture using words and symbols. Writing is a way to organize one’s thoughts and express views that are not only inspiring but also motivating. The purpose of writing is to transfer all your thoughts, ideas and important information into a permanent format which is more tangible. But it is indispensable to ensure that all facts and information is accurately interpreted in any form of writing.

An exemplary writing is often about letting go of fear and affection. For all the people who are fervent and ardent about writing must try to pen down their thoughts into words beautifully and clearly.

Here are some of the tips to keep in mind while writing-

- Never generalize anything while writing about something.

- Avoid any clichés.

- Be very specific about the topic.

- Avoid any kind of abbreviations or alliterations.

- Eliminate all the sentence fragments.

- Never end a sentence with any preposition.

- Avoid any kind of exaggerations in your writing.

- Focus on grammar and correct usage of syntax.

- Proofread, edit and revise.

- Share your written assignments for constructive and positive feedback.

Always call to mind that efficacious writing must communicate the message with ease and clarity. In today’s high- tech world, we all need benignant writing skills to cope up with a literate society and it is the need of an hour. So, it is paramount that your writing must be clear, concise and influential. And with all that said, we would agree with the famous saying by Mark Twain, ‘Writing is easy. All you have to do is cross out the wrong words.”

So, my valuable readers, follow the salient golden rule for writing- WRITE FOR THE READER. And if you want to change the world, pick up your pen and write.
